I am a qualified optometrist with over 30 years experience.
Born and bred in Belfast, I went to school at Lisnasharragh Primary and then Methody before studying optometry at Aston University in Birmingham.
After qualifying, I practised in London and Edinburgh for several years before making the decision to move back home.
I've strong family connections to the Cregagh area and always had it in mind to set up my own practice there.
So, in 1998, when the opportunity arose, I was delighted to open up on the Woodstock Road.

This is part of a new NHS-funded referral scheme called NI PEARS.
It recognizes the role of specially trained optometrists as the first port of call for eye problems.
This means that if you develop a "red eye" or other sudden eye complaint, you can have it assessed urgently in our practice instead of having to attend hospital A&E or your GP surgery.
As well as offering greater convenience for you, the PEARS scheme helps free up GP and hospital appointments for other cases.
