We provide a full range of professional optical services including private and NHS eye examinations, prescription glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses, spectacle repair, specialist children's eye care, retinal photography and a home visit service.
Our wide selection of high quality, contemporary and stylish eyewear suits all prescriptions, ages and face shapes and we hand finish all complete glasses in our onsite glazing lab. We are open our regular hours and are operating by appointment only, with a locked door policy so that we can manage numbers in the practice and keep everybody safe.
Although many measures have now been lifted, as a healthcare business, everyone in the practice is following all the suggested guidance for maintaining additional hygiene measures set out by the NHS, the ABDO and local optical committee (ABDO and LOC - Local Optical Committee) particularly the wearing of PPE and cleaning routines.

Owner and qualified Dispensing Optician, Alex Allan, FBDO, has been part of the business for more than 40 years and is now supported by a dedicated team, including daughter and Dispensing Optician, Lucy Wilson FBDO.
Together they specialise in lenses and frames, measurements, eye examinations, repairs, fittings and general patient care and both are members of the Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO).
