Excellent service from start to finish along with a great selection of frames to choose from. I broke my glasses yesterday evening. I when to all of the local opticians this morning and most of them were closed and large National opticians were unable to help me. My last stop was King Cross Opticians. Cheryl pulled all the stops and in my hour of need she was there for me.

Best ever customer service, great selection of designer frames, and professional and super friendly consultation and expert advice, really happy.
Services
All of our Optometrists have at least 20 years in experience and the eyecare services that we provide go beyond a simple evaluation of your general eye health and need for a prescription.
We also check for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and ocular damage from high blood pressure.
Our team of Optometrists recognise that in today's modern world, technology plays a vital role in the early detection of eye disease like glaucoma and macular degeneration, whilst they are easier to treat.
The most important thing to us is the health of your eyes and we also understand that looking and feeling good in your glasses, sunglasses or contact lenses is vital to you.
You will be seen by experts of over 20 years in optical experience.
We've developed a professional, caring approach with thorough eye examinations and advice that you can trust on eyecare and eyewear.
At King Cross Opticians, we offer a wide range of frames with something to suit every budget - whether you require a traditional or a designer frame, we have got you covered.
Prices start from 65 and all include lenses and frame - we want you to know the price at the beginning, not the end as an unwanted surprise.
The Ray-Ban brand has continued to evolve and develop over the past 75 years to sit proudly amongst the world's most iconic brands.
A classic luxury brand that's not only at the fore front of technology but never forgets its roots.
We believe that a simple 'sight test' isn't enough for something as precious as your eyes.
Our Advanced eye examination go over and beyond a basic 'NHS examination'.
You can expect the highest quality care utilizing hospital level equipment as standard, with no hidden extras.
We have invested in a very specialised digital retinal camera to take a detailed digital image of the back of the eye (the Retina) and helps us to detect eye diseases earlier than a traditional test.
These conditions can lead to serious health problems including partial loss of vision or blindness and often develop without warning and progress with no symptoms.
Floaters are extremely common, and are sometimes associated with flashing lights in the eye, especially when they first appear.
When they first appear, they normally affect one eye, but may affect both eyes at the same time.
In fact, they're so common, that approximately two thirds of the population will have floaters by the time they are in their mid-sixties!
However, they can occur at any age.
Most people describe floaters as little 'blobs' or 'cobwebs' or 'string like' features that move around in the eye, and can be best seen when looking at a light plain surface.
