Ray Daniel is our Director who joined the business at the start of 2013, having previously worked at three leading independent Opticians in Spitalfields London, Blackheath and Collier Row & Upminster, Essex.Ray brings a wealth of dispensing and managerial experience with him to our practice. He is incredibly organised ensuring everything runs smoothly so your experience with us is enjoyable.

read more › This service is normally done within the hour and in our practice. If and when replacement parts are needed, then a small charge will be required prior to any works carried out. As with any repairs that we carry out, it is all done at your own risk, however a member of staff will always explain this upon inspection of your spectacles/sunglasses. If in the event that your spectacles/sunglasses cannot be repaired, we will then try our best to find replacement parts or investigate to see if we find the same make and model.

We are working with The Chelmsford Lions Club & Vision Aids Overseas to recycle the glasses to help a person with poor sight in a 3rd World Country. There are millions of people in developing nations that need glasses. Your old glasses that you are no longer using could be used to give someone else their sight back. Chelmer Village Opticians always recommend keeping an old pair of glasses as back up, but if you have any pair prior to that, then please donate them.

Notes will be made about its appearance so that, during future examinations, notes will be compared to try and establish if there has been any change.
