Today, JM MacDonald continues to specialise in advanced eyecare services including colourimetry and OCT. All of our optometrists are registered with the General Optical Council, ensuring that our customers are provided with the highest quality eyecare via fully qualified practitioners.
With practices in Inverness and Skye, the branches also stock a wide range of in-house and designer frame collections. JM MacDonald joined the Duncan and Todd Group in 2003. From small beginnings, the Duncan and Todd Group now spans 30 practices across Scotland with well-known brands including Duncan and Todd Opticians, 20 20 Opticians as well as Douglas Dickie Opticians.
The Group also operates the state-of-the-art laboratory, Caledonian Optical which provides lenses to the JM MacDonald branches, as well as over 200 clients across the UK. To help businesses across the UK and Ireland satisfy HSE legislation requirements, the Duncan and Todd Group also provides VDU, Safety and Driver eyecare solutions via Smart Employee Eyecare.
