Respectacle
We're an independent local optician, optometrist, and eyewear specialist in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. We offer a range of optical services, including eye tests and contact lens examinations, together with a comprehensive range of stylish and unique prescription glasses and sunglasses. At Respectacle Company, we believe choosing glasses should be an enjoyable experience, and certainly not a hassle or a chore.

You won't find any mass-produced frames here; only carefully selected designer eyewear from the best optical brands in the UK, Europe, and beyond. So, if you're feeling uninspired and incompatible with your current eyewear, or simply fancy a change, please do come and see us. We'll help you to find the perfect spectacles so you'll fall in love with wearing glasses all over again.

Please don't hesitate to contact us to book your next eye test, or visit the store and take a look at our eyewear collections. We think you'll find us quite interesting. The anti glare coating makes them perfect for driving even when the sun is low in the sky (which it often is in Finland!).
Services
Ever since I've known Rob I've been surrounded by eyewear, whether it's been new collections arriving at home or looking in optical stores whilst on holiday.
After taking a break to look after our growing family, Rob found me a 'little job' for an independent optician in Market Harborough (one of his customers) to give me something to do!
I started dressing the window once a month on a Sunday morning and things just grew from there.
I progressed to administration work in the office and covering reception, loving every aspect of the role.
Here at Respectacle Company, we are always on the lookout for new fresh fun eyewear designers to add to our collection.
Albert I'mStein certainly fits the category of fresh and fun.
This emerging eyewear brand originates from Poland and is manufactured using high-quality materials in Korea.
Their designs feature original shapes with great colour combinations.
By mixing the main elements of acetate and titanium, Albert I'mStein has managed to produce some truly fresh and stylish pieces.
One of the things we love most about Albert I'mStein is their willingness to flirt with colours that very few eyewear brands would dare to mix together.
You can't help but smile when you think of Booth & Bruce eyewear.
This collection is full of fun, colour, and with a twist on the classic shapes being brought bang up to date.
The Booth & Bruce collection was born in the vibrant fashionable seaside resort of Brighton in the 1990s.
Their desire was to create an English brand that delivered funky, fashionable frames to forward-thinking spectacle wearers who dared to be different and boy have they delivered.
Over the years the brand has evolved and grown from the small but strong roots of Brighton, putting new shoots throughout the UK and around the world.
Caroline Abram eyewear is a beautifully feminine collection from Paris, intended for all women who want to feel beautiful, sensual, or just themselves.
These pieces of master-crafted eyewear flirt outrageously with colour and seduce you with their bevel edges, curvaceous shapes, and polished facets.
Caroline mixes these assets together with elegant shapes inspired by the vintage sixties era that gave us cat-eyes and sleek sophisticated styling.
Caroline, who is optically trained, spent many years working in optical stores and has been designing jewels and accessories for the eyewear market since 1998.
We love this cheeky award-winning Dutch collection, which produces eyewear for both men and women.
Using the highest quality German stainless steel and Mazzucchelli acetate from Italy, shapes are 'twiddled' and combined together with a beautiful Swiss powder coating silk finish.
Dutz glasses are very distinctive and colourful.
The collection offers a mixture of beautiful stainless steel frames which intermingle with an eclectic mixture of stunning, hand-finished acetate frames.
Living the dream was the plan of these Dutch eyewear designers when they started the company back in 2005.
