Everyone's eyes are different so we tailor the eye examination to your individual circumstances. Following an assessment of your previous history and discussion of your present situation and any symptoms, the eye examination will then usually include the following elements and tests to aid our professional assessment of your visual requirements. Many people only think to visit their optometrist if they are having difficulty seeing well.

However, even if you feel you can see perfectly well, eye examinations are important in order to check the health of your eyes. Both adults and children should have regular checks, and those who drive should also ensure that they meet the required visual standard. After the eye examination, if spectacles are required, advice is freely available from our team of experienced and fully qualified dispensing opticians.

They will provide as much help as you need to ensure that you end up with the best choice of frame and lenses, specifically for you. We offer a good selection - from sturdy, economical frames through to individualised designer styles.
