In the meantime we are preparing the practice so both our staff and patients will be secure and safe. As you would expect the same procedures as before the festive holidays will be in place. Our patients can be assured that we will adhere by the social distancing practices and that hygiene regulations will be maximised. The practice has sourced PPE equipment and will be worn by the staff at all times.

All surfaces around the reception area will be disinfected, as will spectacle frames according to the new guidelines. For your convenience and safety, we would strongly encourage patients to pre-book an appointment in the vast majority of cases. We will minimise the number of patients in the store at any one time so as to keep the surroundings safe.

We ask all patients to wear a mask upon entering, this is to ensure your own safety but also the safety of our staff. Monoptics is an independent multi-lingual opticians catering for English, Spanish and Portuguese speakers. Based opposite Stockwell tube station in South London, we are here to help locals, temporary residents and passers-by with their eye health in any way we can.
