Services
Our March practice is complete with the latest state-of-the art technology and passionate eye care experts.
Walter Harrison first opened Harrison EyeClinic more than 70 years ago and it is still going strong today.
Walter's son David took over the practice before our energetic and experienced optometrist, Vikesh Measuria, decided to take the reins and transform Harrison EyeClinic in to the high quality independent practice we see today.
We are proud to say that we are the only practice in March and the surrounding villages to a specialist OCT clinics every Friday.
Enjoy a comprehensive eye test and easy to understand advice and information regarding your eye health at Harrison Eyeclinic - Opticians in March.
At Harrison Eyeclinic, we are passionate about eye test and eye health and endeavour to provide you with an eye care experience that gives you peace of mind that your vision is in the best possible hands.
Your eye test is more than just an essential check of your eye health.
Your eyes can tell us so much about your general health and we believe that you should be provided with easy to understand advice and information regarding on-going eye care.
When you come to us for an eye test, you're likely to experience some of the tests described below.
Tonometry is the measurement of the eye's pressure and enables us to detect conditions such as glaucoma.
Your optometrist will start by inserting eye drops into your eye.
A small device called a tonometer then moves close to your eye so that it gently touches the cornea, measuring the pressure of your eye.
Some opticians prefer to measure eye pressure with the "air puff" test with a non-contact tonometer (NCT); however, we have found that in some cases this is not as accurate.
Reduce the risk of glaucoma and macula degeneration by booking an appointment at our specialist OCT clinic.
We've treated a lot of people that have previously visited other practices and had their glaucoma and macular degeneration missed or poorly explained.
We decided to use these experiences and open our very own specialist clinic for anyone in the March and Fenlands areas at high risk of glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Every Friday we run a specialist diagnostic OCT clinic to protect your eyes against macular degeneration and glaucoma.
High quality eyewear chosen by our eye care experts to match your unique style and offer comfortable vision correction and protection.
It's vital that your eyewear allows you to get on with your day-to-day life without breaking, getting in the way or causing you discomfort.
With this in mind, our experienced eye care experts have selected a variety of stylish frames and sunglasses as well as a wide range of contact lenses and premium lenses to benefit you.
When you visit us for a comprehensive eye examination, we will evaluate your current eyewear and find out how well they are working for you and your lifestyle.
