The Eye Studio Early detection and treatment have always been the key to saving sight. So we have invested in the best diagnostic technology available globally. This means that we can see potential problems up to 5 years ahead of a conventional 'sight test.' We now know that continuing to give children stronger glasses for short sight will make their prescriptions stronger.

With modern Myopia management techniques, we can slow or even stop their prescription from getting worse?. Whether you come to us for an Examination, a new pair of glasses, or something a little more complicated and out of the ordinary, we guarantee the service you receive will be consistently excellent. You will find that many of our customers who first walked through our doors when we first opened in 1993 are still coming back to us today.

We have spent the last 29 learning and developing as a practice, which is how we are able to offer you unrivalled service in areas such as contact lenses, children's eye care and Ortho-K. Always first to make sure new technology makes it to Chiswick.

Some of our favourite moment whilst working at The Eye Studio is teaching children how to put their new contact lenses in for the first time. As a keen motorcyclist, skier, Cyclist and sailor, Andrew is the person to speak to for expert advice on sports eyewear. He is also an enthusiastic advocate of Ortho-K, a revolutionary treatment The Eye Studio has pioneered since 2004.

SPECTRALIS uses Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to scan your eyes. OCT is a medical imaging technique that uses light waves to generate images of the back of your eye. It allows your optometrist to see a detailed three-dimensional view of your retina so that they can look at your eye in very fine detail. Using OCT we can spot the tiniest sign of damage long before the conventional methods of looking in your eyes.

Dry eye syndrome is a condition in which the amount of aqueous (the watery component of tears) produced by the lacrimal gland is insufficient. This may occur if you have an eyelid or conjunctival disease, such as blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelids), or when normal blinking is disrupted by neurological or eyelid abnormalities.

A growing body of evidence suggests that lifestyle influences, such as the use of digital devices, along with genetics, are contributing to the myopia 'epidemic'. Increased Myopia can lead to a higher risk of Eye Diseases. Our Unique Clarity System utilises the entire breadth of Myopia control techniques available in the UK. With over 20 years of experience to draw on, we will select the best solution to suit your child's needs.

Contact lenses have been a passion for the staff at The Eye Studio ever since we opened our first practice in 1992. When you come to us to look after your eyes, you will find that we treat contact lenses not as a secondary alternative to glasses, but as an equally important option for your eye care needs. You will find a wide range of choices available to you at The Eye Studio when it comes to contact lenses.

If you don't like how you look in your spectacles, it's likely that you'll simply fall out of the habit of wearing them. This will put unnecessary strain on your eyes whilst also preventing you from seeing the world with the crystal clear vision you deserve. It's an issue we understand completely at The Eye Studio, which is why we have worked hard over the last twenty-eight years to assemble a wide variety of frames for you to choose from in practice.
